Veterinary Science Extension is one function of the Department of Veterinary Science in College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University. Our mission is to provide information, guidelines, materials, and opportunities to veterinary practitioners, researchers, students, and many others whose interests are in areas of veterinary science and animal health.

In order to assist us in this task, we publish two newsletters: Veterinary News and Herd Health Memo. These have proven to be very successful vehicles to disseminate information about our Extension.

Some of our worksheets that you can download from our site are:

  • Trouble-Shooting Infertility Problems in Cattle
  • Checklist for Reproductive Management
  • Nutritional Evaluation of Dairy Rations and Feeding Management

These worksheet are designed to provide information on milking procedures, cow environments, milking equipment, and expenditures for mastitis control.
