The Animal BioScience Program is co-sponsored by the Departments
of Veterinary Sciences, Poultry Science, and Dairy and Animal Sciences
and provides a strong background in the biological and physical sciences
underlying contemporary animal agriculture and establishes a sound foundation
for graduate level study in animal and related sciences.
The mission of the Animal BioScience Program is to prepare students for admission to Veterinary School and/or graduate programs in discipline areas related to Animal Science and Biology. Students may prepare for graduate study in biochemistry, genetics, nutrition, microbiology, physiology and others.
For the Bachelor of Science degree in Animal BioScience, a minimum of 130 credits is required.
